The Marine Corps is responsible for providing power projection from the sea by using the Navy ("www.marines.com"). Power projection, also know as force projection, is a term used by the military to intimidate other nations by using threat or force ("Military"). Even though every Marine is a rifleman, they have many other duties, such as being a mechanic, or an engineer. Each job a Marine is given contributes to the successfulness of the Marine Corps.
